Silk Veils, Silk Tulle Veil

MATERIAL: Silk tulle is a very fine and delicate imported tulle made of silk and originates from the production of silkworms. Silk tulle veils are very susceptible to fraying and tearing if not handled with care.

VEILING: We carry three different kinds of silk tulle, French, Italian, & Silk Blend tulles.

French Silk Tulle is made of 100% silk and very very soft and flowing but also very fragile in nature and snags easily. French silk tulle has a texture similar to a pair silk hosiery.



Italian Silk Tulle also made of 100% silk but has a stiffer texture than French silk tulle and is more suitable for silk tulle veils requiring trim or accents. We use this silk tulle if a bride request an applied trim.



Silk Blended Tulle is a newer fabric we have available that also has a very fluid and soft feel to the touch due to the silk content of the fabric but also contains a poly-blend. No trim is applied to this fabric due to it's delicate nature as well. It is a great option for the bride wanting a silk veil but at a lower price point.



RECOMMENDATION: Silk tulle veils can accompany any bridal gown design. Not recommended for outdoor weddings.
