    What Form of Payment Do you Accept?

    We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover as payment for orders. Please be sure to enter your exact billing address and phone number as shown on your credit card statement to prevent delay. Please keep in mind, the majority of our uniquely designed items are made-to-order or require special orders we place with our designers, therefore your credit card will be charged in full at the time the order is placed. __________________________________________________________________________

    How Long Will My Order Take?

    Most of our items are beautifully hand-crafted upon order or special ordered and will ship within 4-6 weeks. Some items have shorter shipping time of 2-3 weeks. Each product page will list ship times next to "Availability" for your convenience. __________________________________________________________________________

    Can I Rush My Order?

    Most of our items can be rush ordered. However, there is a $25.00 charge for all rush orders. This is not a shipping charge, but a "rush production" fee. Rush orders can be turned around within 7-12 business days, and then are shipped at the end of the 7-12 day production period. Customers who choose to rush an order are advised to choose a form a expedited shipping. __________________________________________________________________________ Wear Dates: It is not advisable to place an order for any item if your wear date will be sooner than the posted shipping time. However, you may contact us at sales@distinctiveveils.com first, to see if the order can be fulfilled by your wear date. _________________________________________________________________________ Order Processing: Successfully placed orders will receive an automated order confirmation via e-mail. Credit cards are charged immediately for all orders. All orders will begin processing the same day for orders placed before 3pm, CST (business days). All orders received after 3pm will begin processing the next business day. ________________________________________________________________________

    Shipping Costs

    Shipping Costs can be calculated in the shopping cart and are determined real-time by the shipping method chosen.

    International customers can determine costs by dropping the item of interest in the shopping cart, entering your shipping address, and selecting available shipping methods to your location.

    Shipping Methods: We ship using UPS, USPS, or FedEx for all domestic and international orders. All orders $100 and over will require a signature for delivery. UPS and FedEx can be tracked. USPS Priority Mail cannot be tracked in real-time.

    International Shipping: We do ship internationally to selected countries. Shipping rates and arrival times vary according to the destination. Please use the procedures on in the shopping cart to be sure what it will cost to have your item shipped to your location. International customers are responsible for customs charges. Contact your local countries postal system for estimated customs charges.

    Free Shipping Offer Policy: Orders placed for multiple items that qualify for "free shipping" offer will all ship at the same time based upon the item with the latest shipping period (i.e., if 3 items are ordered and two items are shown to ship within 3 weeks and one item will ship within 6 weeks, all items will ship at 6 weeks). We do not ship items separately for a free shipping offer. However, if requested, customer can opt to have an item out of the full order to ship to them earlier if they would like to pay regular shipping rate for that requested item. ______________________________________________________________________

    Return Policy

    We allow a 5-day return period for non-customized items and most items. Due to the delicate nature of our products that made or ordered especially for each bride, we will charge a 30% re-stocking fee for each item returned.

  • What is not Returnable? All items that are custom or special order are not returnable/refundable. These are typically marked with an asterisk (*) or noted non-returnable item in the product description. Such non-returnable items are as follows:

  • Custom Veils that have widths or lengths not listed on website, all 54" width veils, colored veils & accented veils
  • Embroidered, Lace, & Beaded Veils
  • Swiss Dot, Point D'Esprit and all Silk veils
  • All Bridal Headpieces & Headbands
  • All Hair Flowers
  • Erica Koesler Products
  • Bridal Jewelry
  • All Bridal Essential Items
  • Wedding Shoes


  • PLEASE OPEN YOUR SHIPMENT IMMEDIATELY! For items that are returnable, once you receive your order you have 5 days to look it over and decide if you wish to keep it. All returns must be postmarked within 5 days of the date they were delivered to you. DistinctiveVeils.com reserves the right to refuse shipments not meeting this deadline and/or charge a 20% restocking fee.

    Return Procedures:
  • We allow 5 days from the date of delivery for any return or exchange. No returns or exchanges can be made after the 5-day period. No exceptions.
  • We must be informed via e-mail (not phone) that the return is being made and a RA# (return authorization number) must be issued for a valid return.
  • Returns will not be accepted the week of or after wear date. No exceptions.
  • Please follow packaging and condition guidelines.


  • Packaging & Condition: Item(s) must be returned in original new condition, undamaged with tags attached (if applicable) and re-packaged with the same care we take in packaging your items (i.e.-not balled up, entangled, stuffed in an envelope, box, or bag). If we receive a return in such condition, it will be sent back to you and will become ineligible for refund. No exceptions.

    All items are thoroughly inspected as a quality assurance measure and photographed prior to leaving our facility. Items damaged will not be eligible for return/exchange/refund.

    Defective Items We take much care with inspecting and packaging an item before shipping it If on the rare occasion, you receive an item and is found defective, please inform us immediately, and we will be more than happy to replace the item with the same item in exchange provided it is returned within 5-days from date of delivery. _________________________________________________________________________

    Cancellations

    Order cancellations must be made within 24 hours of order placement. Our products are generally hand-crafted or special ordered and therefore will begin processing immediately once order is received, therefore orders cannot be cancelled after 24 hours of receipt. No exceptions. (i.e. dress arrived in different color/tone, changed dress color, ordered another item, cancelled wedding/wear date, simply changed mind, etc...). If, there is any questions an item may not work for you, please feel free to e-mail or call us with any questions, and we are happy to assist before you place an order.

    Order Refusals

    Customers who do not accept delivery of shipment made to them without cancellation notification must pay for the entire order including shipping charges to the addressee and charges incurred to ship the product back to the manufacturer if applicable or materials charge for custom items. Therefore, please be sure to notify us by e-mail within 24 hours of your order date if you must cancel your order. If you do not wish to comply with this policy, please do not place an order with us. _________________________________________________________________________

    Back Orders

    If an item is out of stock from our designer or materials suppliers you will be notified. You have the option of canceling your order or waiting for the back ordered item to arrive. We will ship your order when it is complete. If you order is a partial order, any items not on backorder will be shipped first, and then the back ordered item will be shipped second for an additional shipping charge.
